Below the inscription there are two portal-shaped plaques with images of saints. Images of Saint Stanislaus (left) and Saint Sigismund (right) on the waist of the belt It tolls on special occasions, mostly religious and national holidays, and is regarded as one of Poland's national symbols. The bell weighs almost 13 tonnes (28 thousand pounds) and requires 12 bell-ringers to swing it. It was cast in 1520 by Hans Behem and named after King Sigismund I of Poland, who commissioned it. ![]() The Royal Sigismund Bell ( Polish: Królewski Dzwon Zygmunt or Dzwon Zygmunta) is the largest of the five bells hanging in the Sigismund Tower of the Wawel Cathedral in the Polish city of Kraków. If someone likes something and they aren’t hurting others through it, then I let them. I don’t try to convince people against it, I don’t try to guilt-trip them for it, I don’t tell them how to ship, I am never passive-aggressive or vague or insulting or annoying to anyone over what they like. I might not agree with it, have strong feelings against it, but I have never brought it up to anyone who does ship their pairing. Then, what would we call someone who has reservations against a specific ship but doesn’t actually engage anyone else over it, or harass or annoy or police others over it, but instead shows respect, stays in their lane, lives and lets live? What do we do with those people? How do we treat them? Because I find myself in that weird gray area and I’m honestly in constant fear of being singled out as an “anti” in my fandoms when I do not display the aforementioned bad behaviors just because I don’t ship a majority of their ships. If the definition of “antishipping” is to harass others and police what fandom does, then I’d say I am not “anti.” Truth is, I respect everyone who ships what I don’t. If you know of some more, pop 'em in the replies! I should probably get better at looking at my own notifications on a text post, but here's some more free advice, if you want it: I'd probably add to my previous list a few others that I've peeked in on lately because I loved their tags on one of my text posts, or they messaged me directly: (since you changed your handle in the meantime), and I'm sure there are more, and if any of you aren’t HL blogs, oops, you aren’t assholes who hate ladies so I love you. ![]() ![]() I don't tend to follow a lot of 1D blogs because a) I want variety and b) it's hard to find blogs that don't shit on women, and that's the sad fact of it all. Hey, I am ALWAYS happy to answer this question, if I can make people unfollow the three or four blogs of the one direction fandom apocalypse, then my job here is done! About two months ago, I did a list here, and it had ANOTHER list in it, so that's a good starting point. ![]()
